This patch should allow for dual band 1T/1R 2.4 GHz/5.8 GHz WiFi 5 & Bluetooth 4.2 on dArkOSen on a genuine R36S using the RTL8821CU chipset/dongle that has a single antenna.

Included is the final compiled script and the source code. AI was used to help with debugging, so if you have a problem with AI, don't use this patch. Also, I don't want to hear about how much your hate AI. I don't care.

I have tested it to work with both WiFi bands as well as Bluetooth for a mouse, keyboard, controller, and headphones.

I have only tested it against the 0930b and latest 1015 releases of dArkOSen, so if you use it in any other OS or any other version I have no idea what will happen.

You MUST have the Bluetooth manager for dArkOSen installed and you MUST have run it at least once before running this script otherwise things will get screwed up.

All you need to do is drop Install_RTL8821CU_AllInOne.sh in the Tools directory of your dArkOSen install and run it on your device. You don't need to be online for it to work, everything needed should be inside the script.

I would then suggest a full shutdown and boot-up.

Once the reboot is complete, go to the Bluetooth Manager and turn Bluetooth off and then on again. This should make the bluetooth icon on the main screen show up next to the WiFi icon.

Currently, once you connect to something on Bluetooth, if the connection is lost for some reason, you likely can't reconnect to it unless you reboot your R36S. I'm not currently sure if this is a bug in the patch or in the OS. I'm looking into it.

I did my absolute best to comply with both the RealTek firmware lic. and GPLv2 lic. requirements. If I screwed it up, don't crucify me, I'm not a professional programmer by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just a hobbyist that is trying to do his best.

You use this patch at your own risk. I provide no warranties or guarantees. If something goes wrong I can't really provide any technical support. It is HIGHLY recommended that you back up your OS card before attempting to use this patch.

Anyone should feel free to take the source code in provided archive and adapt it to anything else, in fact I encourage it.
